Negative thoughts only give birth to negative energy, and negative energy is dead, or inactive.
If a person's mind is inactive, or dead, then what reason will he or she have to attempt anything? If you program your mind
to highlight problems or focus on flaws, you will create negative energy and become inactive.
We all have different taste and interests, and some people appear to be very cynical to others
because of the things they say. You may even find yourself a bit cynical.
It does not matter if you're cynical if that's what you find humorous, as long as you don't
intentionally offend others. The reason why some people have a blank face after being told a joke is that the joke does not
appeal to their sense of humour. This does not mean it's not funny. What a person finds humorous is not negative energy if
the purpose is to evoke laughter and the content is not offensive. If the purpose is to offend someone or highlight a problem
or difficulty, especially when it's obvious, THEN it becomes negative energy.
Of course, pointing out potential problems and warning others is not negativity in itself.
In certain instances, it is necessary and responsible to point out potential problems. Belaboring potential problems and highlighting
them, not to find solutions, but to discourage yourself and everyone around you is destructive.
Energy balances are like air sprays. Positive energy is like spraying a flower scented air purifier.
Negative energy is like spraying from a can of skunk. To maximize your potential, you have to create positive energy and abandon
negative energy.
Most if not all successful people are positive thinkers, optimists; automatic optimists. If
you're reading this you're probably thinking, this is great, but it's useless to me because there are so may things to be
disappointed about. You may even think that you can never become an optimist, let alone an automatic optimist. You're wrong!
The problem is that you have misunderstood the NATURE OF THINGS.
You have no choice but to be optimistic because everything is good. That is the NATURE OF THINGS.
There is no such thing as a bad thing and nothing is bad by nature. Everything that's bad is the misuse of a good thing, therefore
everything is good.
For example:
Sex - if it weren't for sex, none of us would be here. When sex is misused through rape, incest,
and things of that nature, it becomes bad.
Guns - guns can be used for hunting and for sport, but when misused, they become negative.
Knives - knives can be used for carving, for cooking, for entertainment by performers and for
sport. When misused, they become negative.
Fire - no fire no barbecues and in some cases no warmth. Arsonists misuse fire and it becomes
negative.
Pills - one aspirin can cure a headache. 38 aspirin pills...misuse.
Cars - drive within the speed limit and get to work on time. Drive recklessly…misuse…
people can get killed.
Cocaine - cocaine is an ingredient in local anaesthetic...no need to elaborate on its misuse.
Focusing on the good in everything will increase your
level of motivation and make you active through positive thinking. Remember that you are either successful or in the process
of becoming successful so make your optimism automatic. Regardless of what happens or what news you get just say it'll be
ok. Half the things we worry about aren't worth worrying about in the first place.
A few months ago, someone I know was admitted to hospital and I said, "She'll be ok." Someone
heard me and said "You young people can be so unrealistic." I'm sure that Bill Gates, Donald Trump or Warren Buffet all approach
life with the attitude of an automatic optimist, and would probably have said the same thing.
When a problem arises, form an action plan and deal with it. Don't slump yourself into a river
of sadness and despair. The person who was admitted to hospital is now fine. The doctors had the action plan.
Remember to think positively, regardless of what happens. Make it automatic like the eye-blink
reflex.
Here's a humorous example of an automatic optimist, although this guy may be a hyper automatic
optimist.
Many a time graduates become accustomed to companies sending them letters of rejection after
going through numerous stages of exams and interviews. Well here is a wisecrack who wouldn't take his fate lying down!
Re: Letter of Refusal
Dear Sir / Madam,
Thank you for your letter of 4 October 2003. After careful consideration, I regret to inform
you that I am unable to accept your refusal to offer me employment with your company. This year I have been particularly fortunate
in receiving an unusually large number of rejection letters. With such a varied and promising field of candidates it is impossible
for me to accept all refusals.
Despite your company's outstanding qualifications and previous experience in rejecting applicants,
I find that your rejection does not meet my needs at this time. Therefore I will start work with your company on Monday 22
October at 8.30 am. I look forward to seeing you then.
Regards.
